Weeeeeeeeeeee............Its a Monday and Im NOT working!
It's a Teachers' day Holiday........... It's nice to be a teacher :)
Anyway sorry yeah i never update.....Too busy and too tired to go online when i reach home lately. So things been holding up pretty good so far. Had a family day chalet over the weekend on mom's side. Pretty fun. As expected, my uncle asked me to be IC of kids's games. Well they'd better like the prizes i bought them! :)
REALLY GOOD FOOD i must say...Oh the ribs and delectably delicious sauce! OMG...
Me and Hafiz purposely stayed stuck at the bungalow's kitchen chomping away....heee
Thumbs up to the chefs... dearie uncle and aunties and cousins and daddy :)
We had a huge Elmo cake... ( cos that's for the two nieces birthdays turning 1 and 4 yrs old) but somehow i didn't have the appetite to have it. Must be the ribs.... * burp*
Han & family were invited.... They came and we all had a good get together.
Dad's side came too :) So imagine the crowd............ ( and it wasn't even full strength!)
Biasa lah malay family very very big..... I love it :)

So what happened yesterday... Went out with Fazli, big bro Faiz and wife, Kak Ana. Apparently the couple arrived since Thurs...then never tell me! Haha. Only during Sat's tahlil they gave me a surprise. So they left for home back in Penang yesterday night, so i spent a good quality afternoon with them! Its been years! We had lunch then i treated them to Starbucks .... heee...
Took some silly and some nice pics at the Esplanade and Marina. And laughed everytime one of them let out a *silent killer* !! OMIGOSH. Then close to 5pm, i had to leave for fardhu ain.. Hugs and salams to them, saying they'd come again this Raya! Yay!!!!
Speaking of Raya..... I miss the Burkholders back in Florida.... It's been two years and Omar did say, " I wanna go Singapore myself. Next year ok?" Mum says ok but i think the weather there hasn't been good and Uncle Eric's prob been busy travelling a inter-state.
Omar & Marissa, bila nak datang Singapore lagi? Kakak Sasha miss you very much!!!!!!!
And ask mummy to read my emails! heeeeeee

Then again....MONDAY comes....feelin' warm and very sleepy after a nice lunch.....Now in the resource room, MMOB...missin' Christy already...
:( sob sob... Michelle smsed me this morning sayin' the lil princess cried in class and wanted to come back to 717. Poor baby... First day jitters...
But she'll come tomorrow afternoon to visit... weee.....

I bought a brand new pair of kicks... Like almost 2 weeks ago.
Hee ...been a while i bought sneakers.....

Hans idea. I wil never wear such a colour for shoes...somehow whenever he suggest something to try, i'll hate it at first, but will love it sooner...So, yeah, i did.

This is the first time im posting at such an hour of the day.... MORNING!
That's only cos im too sick to go online after work for the past few days, i really need to rest.
Despite having a terrible sore throat, scratchy voice, congested nose and all the trimmings of URTI, (thats Upper Respiratory Tract Infection)...Im at work on a fine and beautiful Saturday morning..Just got the toys out to sun an hour ago. Sunny day today, the pool next door is calling me.....Damn i really need to exercise

I would like to express my sadness....cos my 'lil Princess' Christine is leaving by July 2nd. Never i thought she'd go first before me, cos i almost wanted to quit and leave my babies behind.
Im SO SAD> How can i not have the usual charm and sparkle of sunshine....and a lil bit of drama and tears in my class every day? She's almost become like my own. Of course its inevitable. They grow up, and change school to meet their needs.

I really don't know what to say to Michelle. After i briefly said that I heard she was leaving already. I told her i gonna miss her daughter loads. She gave a faint smile as if knowing how sad i was gonna be. As she was the one who told me not to leave my job cos the kids love me and she likes how i care for Chris.

It was a lil different with Rasmus ( the-all-Singaporean-at-heart German Cutie)
I ALMOST cried when Fenna and Ingo came to pick him up on his last day. Fenna was nice enough to put him in 3 more days cos i was going to miss him more if he left any earlier. And they were going back to Germany. Even they didn't want to. Cos their life was here in Singapore. Sometimes i feel the sadness of parting these expats have.

It's been a while since i last updated. Seems thats all i can afford right now is to update like once or twice a month :P
Been suffering a pretty bad stomach flu since last weekend. And i still have not much appetite to eat like i used to. I mean the pain and what not is gone, and so is the appetite. I've been eating pretty bland foods for a week, and only Fri did i start eating real foods. It was Hani's engagement last Sat, so i stayed over Fri night to help with her preparations. It was fun, mingled with all their family members. I helped her with her gubahan and room decor, bit here & there. Slept pretty late. Han was busy taking pics of us and the whole enchilada.
Sat morning got up early, woke up with a weird feelin...."Where am i? My room's not pink!" then i looked around, i was in Hani's room. All her cousins were asleep including her big bro Han. Oh well, I got up, showered and everything and mama asked to help make some tea for the kids while she and the other makciks go buy some more things needed for Hani's engagement pressies.
Very creative ideas i must say, i especially liked the cherries and wine glass gubahan, and of course the fruit basket which me, Syafurah and Hani decide to give a lil makeover! :)
So i went back home by noon, and got dressed in my royal blue baju kurung, since Han is wearing blue too :P. Came back to their house with my mom, and few min later, the guy's side came. It was pretty lovely. Han was at one corner of the living room taking vids, i was at the other corner taking pics, then when the pihak lelaki say, Hani & Syam ikat for 2 yrs, both me & Han just looked at each other and gasped. ( That means, we're getting married in the same year as lil sis Hani & Syam) Good luck Mama & Papa. Everyone took pics and say their congrats to the lucky girl. She was pretty. Makeup was perfect, dress was beautiful, and everyone had a good feast & get together.
Their family was big. And fun to be with, i must say, they were very happy to have finally met me, the fiance. And grateful that we're finally going to tie the knot after 9 long years of courting. Both of us were really happy for Hani. Happier still that we'll be doing our preparations and wedding in the same year. How exciting, but stressful too :P
Im hoping to complete all my planning and have everything done, andaman, baju, photography/ videography, catering, hantaran etc, by Dec 2008 at least. So that'll leave me and dearie Han some months to breathe before the big day. Its doesn't seem very far away actually, since its already mid 2007. OMG, how fast the year really flies. It's scary.

Its been 5 days since April 19th, when i turned 25yrs old. AND it also marks the most memorable event in my life. I got the best birthday present ever, a SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT. I cant express this in words how ecstatic i was and what a tremendously surprising birthday gathering it was. It wasnt big. But it was perfect. I never thought how Han couldve pulled this off and I didnt even know or caught any hints, cos apparently he planned it a month ago. He kept saying he cant have anything for my birthday this year cos his finances were very tight. I was upset but i thought the least we could do was take a day off from work so we could spend time for a day. Which we did. Started the day early an 9am. Ran some errands then off to have a nice breakfast at McDonalds. Ok lah the bagel was good enough. Then i bought us some steak to cook at his place for lunch, and we rented a DVD. Uncle, Mama, Papa then Hani came home. Obviously surprised at my presence! And as i knew it they would ask why im not working. Its my bday. I said. Oh! Then came the wishes. :)
After lunch and movie, i sat talking to mama....then i had to head home cos my mom asked to be back by 6 since my cousins and relatives are coming for my BIRTHDAY. We both headed to Causeway Point to look at rings and things, totally random idea, trust me. As for the BIRTHDAY, that was what i was told a day before, which i think was really unneccessary cos im turning 25. NOT 16, NOT 18 or 21. So it was very embarrassing for me.
Then came evening. Almost everyone was there except my aunt & family. Cos she had more food to bring. So 740pm sharp, i went down to pick up the food and we were going up together when i heard some more people behind them. Guess who? Han & family. First thing i said, "Hey apa you buat kat sini? Apasal you datang!?!?" And what did he do? Smile. All the way into my house. So did Mama and Hani and Papa and Uncle. They kept smiling when all i did was kept asking...Frantically. Not cos i knew what was going on...( I NEVER EXPECTED) but it was cos i was worried that food wont be enough and i didnt invited them.
Well, never did i expect, my sis pulled me to my room. I started going nuts cos i was still clueless and very very worried, then mom and aunt came in, placed a lovely bangle on my wrist and shouted............"SURPRISE!!! Han datang nak masuk meminang! Happy Birthday!"
I swear it was sooooooooo loud everyone could have heard it! Well, the next thing i did???
I cried. Then hyperventilated a while then cried again and not untill my sis started telling me to start getting dressed, did i realize, OMG< This is FOR real.
Got dressed. Wiped my tears away and waited while both parents talked. Then suddenly dad asked me to come and sit with them. OMG......... So they talked while i sat and still trying to digest this sudden shock, then out came the ring. Of course i accepted. It was so lovely. It was almost what i wanted, a simple wedding band with a perfect cut, Rosella diamond.
( note: WEDDING band, not ENGAGEMENT ring) So, somehow, Han knew what i liked. That was perfect. It was white gold with a tinted band over it.I LOVED IT SO MUCH. Plus? It was engraved with FARSHA (both our names) and 19 04 2007.
I cant say how much we talked and discuss that night, cos it was still a shock for me. But one thing for sure, we're having our big day within 2 years or earlier. We had a very delicious feast. And 2 cakes. :) Had a good get together. And lot of things to mengeratkan lagi sirratulrahim. Then a little bit of photo taking and and some presents. Which was perfect. What can i say?
Im still in blissful mode. My colleagues said im so lucky and Han was so very sweet for such an idea planned ahead. I love him. LOADS. MORE than ever. This was definitely a well planned secret that i could never ever imagined.
