It's been a while since i last updated. Seems thats all i can afford right now is to update like once or twice a month :P
Been suffering a pretty bad stomach flu since last weekend. And i still have not much appetite to eat like i used to. I mean the pain and what not is gone, and so is the appetite. I've been eating pretty bland foods for a week, and only Fri did i start eating real foods. It was Hani's engagement last Sat, so i stayed over Fri night to help with her preparations. It was fun, mingled with all their family members. I helped her with her gubahan and room decor, bit here & there. Slept pretty late. Han was busy taking pics of us and the whole enchilada.
Sat morning got up early, woke up with a weird feelin...."Where am i? My room's not pink!" then i looked around, i was in Hani's room. All her cousins were asleep including her big bro Han. Oh well, I got up, showered and everything and mama asked to help make some tea for the kids while she and the other makciks go buy some more things needed for Hani's engagement pressies.
Very creative ideas i must say, i especially liked the cherries and wine glass gubahan, and of course the fruit basket which me, Syafurah and Hani decide to give a lil makeover! :)
So i went back home by noon, and got dressed in my royal blue baju kurung, since Han is wearing blue too :P. Came back to their house with my mom, and few min later, the guy's side came. It was pretty lovely. Han was at one corner of the living room taking vids, i was at the other corner taking pics, then when the pihak lelaki say, Hani & Syam ikat for 2 yrs, both me & Han just looked at each other and gasped. ( That means, we're getting married in the same year as lil sis Hani & Syam) Good luck Mama & Papa. Everyone took pics and say their congrats to the lucky girl. She was pretty. Makeup was perfect, dress was beautiful, and everyone had a good feast & get together.
Their family was big. And fun to be with, i must say, they were very happy to have finally met me, the fiance. And grateful that we're finally going to tie the knot after 9 long years of courting. Both of us were really happy for Hani. Happier still that we'll be doing our preparations and wedding in the same year. How exciting, but stressful too :P
Im hoping to complete all my planning and have everything done, andaman, baju, photography/ videography, catering, hantaran etc, by Dec 2008 at least. So that'll leave me and dearie Han some months to breathe before the big day. Its doesn't seem very far away actually, since its already mid 2007. OMG, how fast the year really flies. It's scary.
